Eligibility for PM Vishwakarma Yojana
The following criteria must be fulfilled to avail the benefits of this scheme:
- The age of the applicant must be at least 18 years.
- The applicant must be employed in any one of the above 18 professions.
- It is mandatory for the applicant to have Aadhar card and bank account.
- Government employees or their family members are not eligible for this scheme.
- Not have availed the benefits of schemes like PMEGP, PM SVANidhi, or MUDRA in the last 5 years.
Training and Allowance
Two types of training will be given under PM Vishwakarma Yojana:
basic training
- Duration: 5-7 days (40 hours)
- Objective: Evaluation of existing skills and introduction to modern technologies
- Allowance: ₹500 per day
advance training
- Duration: 15 days or more (120 hours)
- Objective: Intensive skill development and entrepreneurial knowledge
- Allowance: ₹500 per day
Free boarding and lodging facilities will also be provided to the beneficiaries during the training.

Under PM Vishwakarma Yojana, beneficiaries will be given a toolkit voucher worth up to ₹15,000. This voucher will be in the form of e-Rupee which can be used to purchase advanced equipment from designated centres. This voucher will be given at the commencement of basic training.
loan facility
Under this scheme, loan facility without guarantee will be provided to the beneficiaries:
- Phase 1: Loan up to ₹1 lakh, for a tenure of 18 months
- Step 2: Loan up to ₹2 lakh, for a tenure of 30 months
The interest rate on the loan has been fixed at 5%, in which the government will provide a subsidy of up to 8%.

PM Vishwakarma Yojana offers a special incentive scheme to promote digital transactions:
- ₹1 incentive per digital transaction
- Up to maximum of 100 transactions per month
