• In Medical Terms, PDA has a full form - Patent ductus arteriosus.
•  In the field of medicine, PDA is also called patent ductus arteriosus. And this is its Hindi meaning.

Patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) is a condition in which the ductus arteriosus is not closed. Ductus arteriosus is a blood vessel that carries blood around the baby's lungs before birth.  

Immediately after the birth of the baby, its lungs are filled with air, after which the ductus arterios is not needed and it often stops within a few days after birth. 

But if the ductus arteriosus does not stop then it is known as the condition of Patent ductus arteriosus (PDA).
