Due to this, a new scheme has been started by the Uttar Pradesh government. The name of this scheme is Surya Mitra Yojana. The youth will be provided benefits through this scheme of the state of Uttar Pradesh. Through Suryaghar Yojana, not only will the production of clean energy in the state increase, but the youth will also get new employment opportunities.
30000 youth will be trained

The Uttar Pradesh government has set a target of getting solar panel fit in the homes of one crore people of the state. For this, the Uttar Pradesh government will also train 30,000 youths of the state. Under Surya Mitra Yojana, these 30,000 youth will be trained. According to the state officials, training will be provided to these youths in district centers and industrial training institutes.
Training will be given for 600 hours
Along with this, it was also told that more than 3,000 youth in Uttar Pradesh have completed training courses for solar projects. Now the target of carrying this number up to 30,000 has been set. There will be a three -month training program under this scheme. In which 600 hours of training will be given. During this period, courses of classes, practical laboratory work, solar photovoltaic technology plant, soft skill development and entrepreneurship development courses will also be available.
Youth must have passed tenth grade
Only the youth selected through the government’s Surya Mitra Yojana will be trained. It is mandatory for the youth to pass class 10th to take advantage under the scheme. Along with this, it is also necessary to have an ITI certificate of wireman, electrician, fitter, electronic mechanic, sheet metal worker. After the completion of this training, the government will provide assistance to these youth for employment.

Solar panels will be installed in more than 18 lakh houses

Net billing/net metering process has also been started to further increase the use of solar energy through the government. The UP government has partnered with the Tata group to install solar panels in 10 lakh houses in Uttar Pradesh.
