According to the provisions of Section 135 (B) of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, every person employed in any private or public business, profession, shop, industrial undertaking or any other establishment having the right to vote shall, on polling day 13 He will be given paid leave in November, 2024 so that he can cast his vote in the assembly by-elections.

So the same district administration Ajmer has declared Thursday 14th November as a local holiday on the occasion of Pushkar fair. Government schools and offices will remain closed on that day due to local holidays.

The salary of any person will not be deducted or reduced by the employer on account of the above holiday and if any person works on the basis that salary will not be paid for such holiday, he will still be paid salary for this holiday, which Normally he would get it on that day, if he was not given leave on that day. But these provisions shall not apply to such voters whose absence from duty would cause any danger or material loss in connection with the employment in which he is employed.
