Post office launched new scheme
From the Department of Posts Deendayal touch scheme 2024 Has been launched. Under this scheme, the students of the school are being given the benefit of scholarship of Rs 6000. Interested and eligible candidates can send their application by 9 September 2024. Under this scholarship scheme, scholarship is provided to meritorious students. Students of government and private schools can apply under Deendayal touch scheme.
Interested students have to follow the offline medium to apply. Under this scheme, students studying in any recognized government or private school in India can avail benefits. The postal department will be given Rs 500 per month as scholarship under this scheme.
Examination will have to be given to get scholarship
The benefit of this scholarship will be provided for one year. For this scholarship, you can send your application by 9 September. Students will have to take the exam to take advantage of the scholarship. The examination will be conducted on 30 September 2024. This exam will be of 50 marks and the candidates selected in this examination will be given the benefit of this scholarship. Questions related to the postal department will be asked in this examination. Apart from this, questions of current affairs, history, geography, science etc. will also be asked in it.
Eligibility required for Post Office Scholarship Scheme
- Applicant should be an Indian citizen
- The applicant should be studying in India’s recognized educational institution.
- To apply in the scheme, the applicant has scored at least 60% marks in the previous class. (Students of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes will have 5% discount)
- Government or private school students will be able to take advantage of this scheme.
- Students from class 6 to class 9 can send their application to this scholarship.
