PM Awas Yojana Installment: A press conference was held in Pusa, New Delhi on behalf of the Union Rural Development and Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan in connection with the program to be held in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. During the press conference, Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the Prime Minister of our country Shri Narendra Modi on 15 September 2024 to the beneficiaries of Jharkhand state, on 16 September 2024 to the beneficiaries of Gujarat state and on 17 September 2024, the beneficiaries of all other states including Odisha, including the election code of conduct, will transfer the first installment of the rural housing scheme.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Rural Yojana launched for rural families
That is, the first installment of Grameen Yojana from Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be transferred on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. All the beneficiaries who are going to get benefits under this scheme will be given the benefit of this scheme. Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that food, clothes and housing are the basic needs of the poor. He said that the government is making every effort to meet all the basic needs of poor families. In such a situation, for the families who do not have roof on their heads Pradhan Mantri Gramin Housing Scheme Has started Under this scheme, the families of rural areas will be given housing heads.
Approval letter will be distributed to beneficiaries
The Union Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will distribute acceptance letters to about 20,000 beneficiaries of Jharkhand state. Apart from this, an amount of more than Rs 5 crore will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries through single click. Along with this, home will also be admitted to newly constructed houses of 46,000 beneficiaries. This is a welfare scheme which will be an inspiration for more implementation of the scheme in the coming days. In the current financial year, Jharkhand has been set for target of 1,13,195 houses, for which an amount of Rs 187.79 crore has been released.

Home admission ceremony will be celebrated in completed houses
More than 6.50 lakh houses have been constructed in the last ten years in the state of Gujarat. In the current financial year, a target of 54,135 houses for Gujarat has been set, against which an amount of Rs 99.1 crore has been released. During the Prime Minister’s program, an amount of about Rs 93 crore will be transferred to the account of 31,000 beneficiaries of the state and the home entrance ceremony will be celebrated in 35,000 completed houses.
26 lakh beneficiaries will enter new homes with their families
On September 17, 2024, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will organize a program at the national level in the state of Odisha, under which will distribute acceptance letters to 10 lakh beneficiaries of various states. The transfer of the first installment of Rs 3180 crore will be issued directly to the bank account of the beneficiaries through digital means. After this distribution, 26 lakh beneficiaries will enter their new homes with their families.
