What is the difference between LTE and VoLTE?

At present, the whole world is living in the era of information technology revolution.  The total internet users in the world are 4.57 billion by 2020.

China has the largest number of internet users at 85 crore, while India has 56 crore internet users and is followed by USA with 31 crore internet users.

As we know that most countries of the world have internet available at the speed of 4G, which is also known as LTE in their country.

But there is another word VoLTE which confuses many people.  So in this article we have published the differences between these two key words.

But before explaining the difference between LTE and VoLTE, we need to understand the meaning of both words separately.

However, the drawback of this network is that if you are using it on your smartphone and someone calls on your number, then the internet connectivity stops.

But this problem has been solved by VoLTE connectivity.  Airtel launched the first LTE network service in India in the year 2012.

What is VoLTE?

The full form of VoLTE is ‘Voice over long term evolution’.  It also supports 4G networks.  Like LTE, you can also enjoy high speed internet in it.

This network has solved an LTE problem.  In this network you can enjoy high speed internet service, even if you get someone’s call on your phone during internet usage, your internet connection will not be interrupted.

Reliance Jio launched a full-fledged VoLTE service in India in 2016.

Thus VoLTE is capable of managing and improving high-speed voice and data services, especially on 4G, LTE networks.
