To lock biometric, go to the official website of UIDAI and click on Lock and Unlock Aadhaar area.
After that, update your Aadhar card number and other information and a one time password will be received on the registered mobile number, after entering which you can get your biometric locked.
How to check Aadhar card usage history:
You can check the history of where and when your Aadhaar has been used by following the following procedure.
- First of all open My Aadhaar portal
- After that enter your Aadhaar number captcha code and click on log in with OTP
- Now you will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number, enter it
- Then select the Authentication History option and select the date for the usage period that you want to review.
- Now you will come to know about unauthorized activity here
- If any activity is taking place that you feel is suspicious or unfamiliar, you can inform UIDAI.
