Har Ghar Har Garihni Yojana: A new scheme has been started by the state government. The name of this scheme is Har Ghar Har Grahani Yojana. Under this scheme, the target has been set that 50 lakh BPL families will be provided gas cylinders for ₹ 500. This scheme has been started from 12th August 2024. The objective of this scheme is to provide gas cylinders to the poor and Antyodaya families at cheap prices, so that their expenses can be reduced and they can get relief.
50 lakh BPL families will get cylinder for just ₹500
Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has inaugurated “Har Ghar Har Grihini Portal” in Jind on 12 August 2024. Through this portal, about 50 lakh BPL families will be given LPG cylinders for just ₹ 500. Beneficiaries will have to pay only ₹500 for the gas cylinder, and the remaining amount will be sent back directly to their bank account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
Great initiative for poor families
This is a great initiative taken by the government for BPL families. Due to the high prices of gas cylinders, the pockets of the general public are being greatly affected. Keeping this in view, this new scheme is being implemented by the Haryana Government for the poor class people. Under this, the families whose annual income is less than Rs 180000 or Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand will now get gas cylinder available at the price of only Rs 500.
Eligibility for Har Ghar Har Grihini Portal
- To avail the benefits of this scheme, it is mandatory for you to be a native of Haryana.
- The benefit of this scheme will be available only to those families whose annual income is less than Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand.
- Only families coming under Antodaya and BPL families will get the benefit of this scheme.
