GATE 2020 results have been declared today by IIT Delhi. The exam was conducted in February 2020 at various centres.

The information available on the official website reads “GATE – 2020 result declared. Will be available shortly.” Once the result link is activated, candidates can check their GATE 2020 result from the GOAPS’s website. 
Out Of total 858890 registered candidates, 685088 candidates appeared for the GATE exam. As per the result notification, 18.8% candidates have declared qualified in the test. The result notification reads “IIT Delhi is the organizing institute for GATE 2020 examination

Out of 858890 registered candidates in 25 papers, 685088 candidates (79.76%) appeared in the examination and around 18.8% candidates qualified in GATE 2020. The result of GATE 2020 is declared today (March 13, 2020) at 2:30 pm and is available on the GATE website.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).
Qualifying in GATE is a mandatory requirement for seeking admission and/or financial assistance to Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture and Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Science, in the institutions supported by the MHRD and other Government agencies. Even in some colleges and institutions, which admit students without MHRD scholarship/ assistantship, the GATE qualification is mandatory. Further, many Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) have been using the GATE score in their recruitment process.

GATE 2020 provisional answer keys were released on February 18, 2020, on its official portal. Candidates were given time from February 19 to 21, 2020, to challenge the GATE answer key. After evaluation of the challenges, IIT Delhi on Friday released the GATE 2020 final answer key. GATE 2020 cut-off marks IIT Delhi has also released the paper-wise qualifying marks for GATE 2020. Candidates can check the paper-wise qualifying marks for GATE 2020 from the table given below.
