CTET Exam Date 2025
CBSE has announced that the CTET July session examination will be held on 6 July 2025 (potential). This exam will be in two shifts:
- Shift 1: 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
- Shift 2: 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm
Three new rules of CTET
1. Lifetime Validity of CTET Certificate
Now the validity of the CTET certificate has been lifetied. Earlier it was valid for only seven years. This change reduces the need for candidates to take the exam repeatedly.
2. Negative Marking will not be
There will be no negative marking in the CTET exam. This will encourage students to answer all questions.
3. Updated Syllabus and Pattern
CBSE has made some changes in CTET’s syllabus and patterns. Now the questions will be more practical and based on teaching skills.
CTET Eligibility Criteria
CTET is held at two levels:
Paper I (Class 1 to 5)
The candidate has to fulfill any one of the following criteria:
- Senior Secondary and D.El.Ed or B.EL.ED. with minimum 50% marks
- Bachelor’s Degree and D.El.Ed.
Paper II (Class 6 to 8)
The candidate has to fulfill any one of the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree and B.ED.
- Senior Secondary and Baed./B.Sc.Ed.
