Contractual Regular News: The state government itself has issued instructions regarding regularizing the contract employees. After the approval by the Finance Department, the state government has now made preparations to appoint employees on contract to regular posts.
Under the Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Post Rules-2022, the state government is preparing to convert the contractual posts into regular posts and make appointments on those posts. SOP has been prepared for this.
It is being told that regarding the implementation of SOP, orders may soon be issued by the Finance Department to ensure that the departments follow the guidelines within the time limit.
Contract workers will be regular:
According to the information received from the sources, the number of posts to be created regularly will be assessed by preliminary screening of the employees who have completed the prescribed service period under the rules regarding regularization of contract workers in the provisions included in the SOP.
For this, orders may soon be issued to the departments to follow the guidelines of the Society and SOP within the stipulated time.
As per the assessment by the institution and the department, it will prepare a proposal with the need to convert the posts into regular posts. In this, a proposal will also be sent to abolish equal number of contractual posts.
Under Civil Post Rules, such posts which are above the initial post of the concerned service cadre, will be included as literal entry posts when they are converted into regular posts.
That is, provision will be made to fill the posts of the concerned service cadre in the ratio of promotion and direct recruitment in 50-50 ratio.
The concerned departments will have to work within the time limit prescribed in the SOP. The organization and department will have to complete the work from initial screening to preparing the proposal and sending it to the finance department by December 27.
Similarly, the Finance and Personnel Department will also set a time limit for every work, within which the work will have to be done.
