Ambedkar Awas Yojana: There are many families in our country who are not financially able to get their houses repaired due to lack of money. This is the reason that their house becomes in a very dilapidated condition and the family members have to live their lives facing problems in the same dilapidated house. To solve this problem, Haryana government has appointed Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana has been started. Through this scheme, financial assistance is provided to Scheduled Caste and BPL card holders of the state for renovation and repair of their 10 year old houses.
Grant will be given for house renovation
Under this scheme, a lump sum financial assistance of ₹ 80,000 is given to SC/BPL card holders in the form of grant for renovation and repair of their house. Earlier, under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 50,000 was available for repairs, but now the government has increased it to ₹ 80,000. In the initial phase, financial assistance was provided through this scheme only to Scheduled Caste citizens, but later this scheme was amended and BPL card holders have also been made beneficiaries of the scheme.
Required eligibility for the scheme
- The applicant should be a permanent resident of Haryana.
- Scheduled Caste and BPL card holders will be able to apply under this scheme.
- The applicant should not have previously taken grant under any government department or scheme for the repair or renovation of his house.
- The concerned house should have been constructed at least 10 years ago.
- The applicant himself should be the owner of the house for which he is applying for repair and renewal.

- Ration Card (BPL)
- caste certificate
- Address proof
- income certificate
- Aadhar card
- plot registry
- A photo standing in front of the house
- Any one of electricity bill or water bill, stove tax, house tax etc.
- family identity card
How to apply
- To apply for the scheme, first of all you have to be a resident of Haryana. simple portal will go on.
- After this the homepage of the portal will open in front of you.
- Here on the homepage of the portal, you will have to login by entering the login credentials.
- If you are not registered on the portal then you will have to register by clicking on the link New user?Register here.
- Now after logging in, you will see the link of the related scheme on the portal.
- Now you have to click on this link to apply.
- As soon as you do this, the application form will open in front of you.
- Now you will have to enter all the important information asked in this form carefully and upload the necessary documents.
- After uploading all the required documents you have to pay the fee online. (You will have to pay a fee of ₹30 for the application)
- After this you will have to click on the Submit button.
- In this way you will be able to apply under Ambedkar Awas Navinikarn Yojana.
