How to write an application if money is deducted from ATM


Many times, while withdrawing money from the ATM, the money gets stuck or the money gets deducted but the money does not come out of the ATM. In such a situation, you will have to inform your bank and give this information, so that the bank can take appropriate action on your deducted money. What to do if money gets stuck in ATM machine?

If money is stuck in the ATM machine, you will have to inform the bank within 24 hours. To get the money back, you will have to write and submit an application form, as given above.

In the application, you will have to enter bank details, Aadhar card, PAN card etc. along with ATM machine information, date and time of withdrawal of money. According to your application, the bank will check your details, then your money will be deposited in your account.

Note: According to the rules of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), if the ATM transaction fails and money is deducted from the bank account, then the bank will have to return the money within 5 days. If the bank does not do this, it will have to pay a compensation of Rs 100 every day. Therefore, you can rest assured and submit the application for the stuck money in the bank.
