Mahtari Vandana Yojana 2024: There are many government schemes running in our country for women. The reason behind starting these schemes is to benefit women. Due to this, Mahtari Vandan Yojana is being run by the Chhattisgarh government. Under this scheme, an assistance amount of Rs 1000 is being provided every month to the beneficiary women of the state. The aim behind this scheme is to raise the economic level of women.

More than 70 lakh women had applied under this scheme, after which the eligible women were given the benefits of the scheme. The names of eligible women were released in the beneficiary list of Mahtari Vandan Yojana on the official website of the scheme on March 1, 2024. The women whose names are in this list have so far received 3 installments under the scheme. Financial assistance of thousand rupees is given every month.

The women beneficiaries of this scheme are provided a financial benefit of Rs 12,000 annually i.e. Rs 1000 every month. This amount is being given to married/divorced/widowed women to make them self-reliant, self-reliant and empowered. The names of women who have been found eligible under this scheme are included in the beneficiary list of Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024.

Necessary eligibility for Mahtari Vandana Yojana

  • To avail the benefit of this scheme, the woman should be a native of Chhattisgarh state.
  • To avail the benefits of the scheme, the applicant should fall in the category of married, abandoned or widowed woman.
  • The age of the applicant should be between 21 years to 60 years.
  • No member of the applicant’s family should be in government employment.
  • The monthly income of the family of the applicant woman should not be more than Rs 12000.

How to apply for the scheme

  • First of all you have to download the Mahtari Vandan Yojana form.
  • Now you will have to download this form and print it.
  • Now it has all the information like Type of applicant (married/widowed/divorced/abandoned),date of application,Name of the applicant (which is recorded in the Aadhaar card),husband’s name,Date of birth of the applicant (as per Aadhaar card), Certificate for date of birth (Birth Certificate/Aadhar Card/10th or 12th Marksheet/Driving License etc.), Caste etc. of the applicant will have to be entered.
  • You will get various types of options like whether any member of your family is in a government job, whether any member of your family has been an Assembly MLA or MP, whether you belong to the previous category etc. You will have to answer yes or no to all these.
  • After this you will have to enter your bank details like bank name, IFSC code, account number.
    • After this, copies of the documents available with you will have to be attached with the application form.
    • Now this form will have to be submitted to the Anganwadi centre.
    • In this way you will be able to apply for the scheme by filling the Mahtari Vandana Yojana Form.
