Blue print of half yearly examination released, examination from next month from 12th December, see complete information

Half Yearly Exam 2024: After a long wait, the Directorate of Education has finally released the blue print of the course and mark distribution of the state common half-yearly examination for classes 9th to 12th on Tuesday. The examination is proposed from 12th December.

70 percent of the course will appear in the half-yearly examination of class 9th and 11th. Whereas in class 10th and 12th, questions will be asked from 100 percent of the courses in the half-yearly exam on the basis of board pattern. All question papers except practical subjects will be of 70 marks. Candidates will get 3.15 hours to solve them. The department has kept 50 percent knowledge based questions in the question paper.

Question papers will be prepared on the basis of blue print only. However, challenges still remain in conducting half-yearly examinations at the state level. The state government has implemented the one day one paper scheme by dissolving the common examination committees of all the districts. Half yearly examinations are proposed from 12th December next month. The education department has started preparations for the examinations.

There are many challenges in conducting uniform examinations at the state level. In which the biggest challenge is the difficulty of delivering papers to remote centers and paper leakage.

Have to stop. Creating an examination center and conducting the examinations will be difficult. Apart from this, there will be problems in schools like lack of infrastructure for examination, shortage of teachers and keeping the papers safe. Apart from this, there will be a lot of problems in getting the copy checking done after the examination on the lines of board examination. Here, many teachers organizations have expressed opposition to the state level uniform examinations.

The paper will be prepared on this pattern:

Objective questions 10, blank space 8, very short answer 10, short answer 12. Three long answer and two questions will be essay type. Essay question will be of number six. Candidates will also be provided the option of or in essay questions.

Under the state level common examination of class 9th to 12th, the responsibility of delivering the papers to various districts of the state has been given to Registrar Education Departmental Examinations, Rajasthan Bikaner. The registrar department will distribute the paper through the DEO of the concerned district.
