Bhawana Kant will create history on Republic Day, will be the first female fighter pilot to participate in the parade

Bhavna will become the first woman fighter pilot to participate in the Republic Day Parade (Republic Day 2021). Bhavna will be part of the Indian Air Force (IAF) tableau in the parade. It will include light combat aircraft, light combat helicopters and Sukhoi 30 fighter plane. Union Minister Dr.  Harshvardhan has congratulated him for this on Twitter.

Bhawna hails from Baur village of Ghanshyampur block of Darbhanga district of Bihar. His father is an engineer who works in Refinery Township.  Bhavna received her schooling from Barauni Refinery DAV Public School. He then did engineering in Medical Electronics from BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore.

Government of India will celebrate January 23 every year as Parakram Divas

The Government of India has decided to celebrate Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary as ‘Parakram Divas’ on 23 January every year to inspire the youth of the country with their spirit.  This year is the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and the Government of India has decided to celebrate it nationally and internationally.

Subhash Chandra Bose was an Indian nationalist known as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, whose strong patriotism made him a public hero of India.  However, his methods were also criticized as he attempted to help India gain independence from British rule during World War II with the help of Nazi Germany and imperialist Japan.

China gives a big blow, 28 US officials banned

China has banned 28 officials in key positions during Donald Trump’s presidency.  It featured former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and former advisor John R.  Bolton is also included.  Sanctions have been imposed accusing them of deteriorating Sino-US relations and interfering in internal affairs within China.

Trump gave another blow to China before he stepped down as US President.  He had signed an executive order banning transactions from 8 apps owned by Chinese companies.  These apps were banned, including WeChat Pay and Jack Ma’s Alipay from the aunt group.

Lasith Malinga retires from franchise cricket, will not play for Mumbai Indians

Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga has decided to retire from franchise cricket.  He was part of the Mumbai Indians franchise in the Indian Premier League.  The fast bowler made the Mumbai Indians management aware of his decision earlier this month, leaving him unavailable for the champion’s wish list.

Malinga has been a part of the Mumbai Indians IPL franchise since 2008, he has been the leading bowler of Mumbai Indians in terms of wickets.  He won the Purple Cap award for most wickets in the fourth IPL season, taking 28 wickets in 16 matches.

Famous bhajan singer Narendra Chanchal passed away

Narendra Chanchal spent his childhood singing hymns to Matarani.  His hymns became famous from house to house.  Talking about his songs, people loved his songs.  Narendra used to sing Mata Ka Prasad in Chanchal Jagran and he won the hearts of fans in Bollywood as well.  People had started breaking up in the awakening in which he had gone.

NASA shared galaxy cluster Abell 370 image

NASA reported that the strange shapes seen in this image are distorted forms of galaxies that are not part of the cluster, but are located next to it.  Due to the enormous gravity of this galaxy cluster, these distant skies look distorted.

The Abel 370 galaxy cluster is reported to be home to hundreds of galaxies.  It is named after George Abell, who listed this galaxy.  Each galaxy has so much mass that it affects the location around it.

India ranked fourth in the Global Firepower Index -2021

The countries are ranked on the basis of their potential military strength in the Global Firepower Index.  In the list of Global Firepower, the US military has been ranked as the most powerful army in the world, while Russia has been ranked second and China has been placed third.  At the same time, neighboring country Pakistan has been placed at the 10th position in this list.

Cabinet approves 850 MW Ratale Power Project in Jammu and Kashmir

This power project will be operational in the next five years.  LG Manoj Sinha of the state in Jammu and Kashmir said that the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the 850 MW Ratale power project in Jammu and Kashmir.  This is a major step to make Jammu and Kashmir self-reliant in the power sector.

Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha said that the construction of the project will help in streamlining the supply of electricity in Jammu and Kashmir.  Four thousand people of Jammu and Kashmir will get direct and indirect employment.  Forty years later, the project will go to Jammu and Kashmir and in 40 years, Rs 9581 crore will also be provided for water use.
