List of free facilities available from March 1
The purpose of these facilities to be implemented from March 2025 is to provide relief to different sections of the society. These include schemes related to tax exemption, health services, education and employment. A brief description of these features is given in the table below:

Income tax exemption: Tax Relief for Middle-Class
There will be no tax on income of up to ₹ 12 lakh under the new tax slab to be implemented from March 2025. In addition, salarid individuals will get standard deduction of up to ₹ 75,000, which can completely eliminate their tax liability. This step will help to strengthen middle class families financially.
Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY)
Gig workers will be provided health insurance under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY). Under this scheme, every family will get health cover of up to ₹ 5 lakh per year. The scheme also covers the expenses before and after being hospitalized.

Smart City Mission: Urban Development
The smart city mission has been extended to March 2025. Under this mission, the goal is to strengthen infrastructure in cities and provide better living standard to citizens.

- Creation of clean and permanent environment.
Women Safety and Employment: Women Empowerment
Working Woman Hostels are being established to promote women’s safety and employment. In addition, women will also be provided skill development training.

National Service (NCS): Free Job Services

Serviceplus Portal: Digital Governance
New digital services are starting on the Serviceplus portal, so that citizens will be able to avail government services easily.
